PE Hawlingers with lower PE fusion end d 63 mm are to be used for welding into electrofusion welding saddles.
The horizontal PE fusion end (in pipe direction or 90° to pipe direction) can be used for installation of a push-fit fitting or for welding into PE pipelines via resistance welding or butt welding.
The vertical outlet with male thread (protected by a threaded cap of PE) serves the purpose of accommodating the drilling device.
PE Hawlingers are provided with a shut-off blade of stainless steel driven via slotted link gear as shut-off device. The shut-off blade is moved at low wear in horizontal direction against fixed stops.
To open or close the outlet area only one half revolution (180°) is required. In combination with a drilling device the shut-off system permits the easy under pressure drilling of the main line.
