HAKU Hawlinger with horizontal ZAK® socket in pipe direction

HAKU-Hawlinger are to be used for mounting on PVC pipes in accordance with DIN EN 8062. The two half-shells are precisely calibrated to their respective outer diameters. An inadmissible deformation of the tube is prevented by the metallic stops when connecting the half-shells.

The upper ZAK® socket outlets are used in combination with ZAK® tip end fittings for connecting house connection pipes.

With all Hawle Hawlinger® tapping fittings, the shut-off is provided by a gate-driven plug-in disc made of stainless steel. The plug-in washer is moved horizontally in a housing with low wear and tear against fixed, metallic stops.

To open or close the passageway, only a half-turn (180°) is required.

In combination with a tapping device suitable for gas, the shut-off system enables easy drilling of a pipeline, even in operating condition.

The half-shells are fastened with hexagonal screws or screwless via locking wedges (d63 only). The locking wedges are secured by safety plates.
