Hawle strap for pipes coated with ZMU

Hawle brackets for DMU pipes are used for the safe installation of tapping and slide clamps on DMU pipes. Hawle bracket 311-01 is to be used when the cement jacket is removed in the sealing area of the tapping fitting.

CAUTION: The cement shell must only be removed in the sealing area of the tapping fitting, not on the entire circumference. The visible drill core must then be sealed with suitable sealing compound to avoid corrosion on the drill core.

The particularly wide support of 60 mm ensures the lowest surface pressure on the pipe (DIN 3543-2:1984, which has since been withdrawn, provided for a support width of 50 mm for steel and cast iron pipes).

The included saddle seal is a special design and has a raised design compared to the standard saddle seals (higher version). The raised design compensates for the pipe diameter due to the removed cement shell in the sealing area of the tapping fitting.

Note:
Hawle brackets for CMM pipes can only be used without restriction for tapping fittings with a vertical outlet or horizontal outlet in the direction of the pipe. If necessary, the bracket must be tightened asymmetrically to prevent a collision of the thread with the lateral outlet.

Note on double bracket clamps:
Two brackets (retaining pieces) and a special saddle seal (order no. 317-00 or order no. 318-00) are always necessary - please specify when ordering!
