Shut-off saddle Hawlinger for gas blowing off

The Hawlinger for gas blowing-off, consisting of a steel blow-out pipe 1 1/2" and a safety plug with relief bore at the vertical outlet, a reduced weld-on cap (DN 80) and an extension spindle, can be used for welding onto steel pipes.

Shutting off is effected via a shut-off blade of stainless steel driven via slotted link gear. The shut-off device is moved in a housing at low wear in horizontal direction against fixed metal stops. For opening or closing of the outlet area only one half revolution (180°) is required.

The necessary length of the Hawlinger for gas blowing-off can be established by welding a steel pipe (DN 80) to the weld-on cap.

To facilitate operation, the relief plugs and the extension spindle are provided with the same operating square.
