Socket end cap - System 2000

The socket end cap serves as a tool for blanking off pipes for pressure testing, flushing and finishing a construction section. With one vertical female thread outlet, and with one horizontal push-fit socket for the restraint connection with PE pipes grades PE 80, PE 100 and PVC pipes.

The pipe is sealed via lip gasket. Due to the contour of the lip gasket the pipe end can be pushed into the sealing chamber without great effort. The restraint joint acts independently of the pipe gasket and is ensured by tightening the lock ring.
