Shut-off adaptors with auxiliary shut-off device, upper female thread outlet and lower male thread outlet are to be used in combination with pipe saddles or tapping bridges.
In combination with a drilling device (e.g. Hawle drilling device HAWLOMAT, model no. 830-00) the shut-off system with integrated auxiliary shut-off device permits the easy under pressure drilling of the main line.
On drilling, the outlet area is temporarily shut off via a shut-off blade / saddle blade
(model no. 840-00) after pulling out the drilling spindle. The saddle blade is available as accessory. After drilling, valves and fittings can be connected.
