Dirt gasket for sockets - BAIO® system

The dirt gasket for sockets prevents dirt from penetrating into the ring gap between the PE/PVC pipe and the BAIO® socket when the trench is backfilled.

Prior to installation of the pipe the dirt gasket for sockets shall be inserted into the BAIO® socket (see figure). Subsequently the PE/PVC pipe shall be pushed through the dirt gasket for sockets and the GKS gasket into the BAIO® socket as far as it will go.
