The pipe entry fitting with conduit and with female thread and "anti-twist locking wings" is mainly used for installation in concrete walls.
Before backfilling the fresh concrete the pipe entry fitting is inserted in the formwork of the outer building wall. Subsequently, the formwork is backfilled with fresh concrete. On setting and hardening of the fresh concrete a restraint connection is established between the wall and the pipe entry fitting because of the welded on "anti-twist locking wings".
The integral taper ring serves as adaptor to the respective plastic pipe outside diameter. Suitable fittings for PE pipes (PVC on request), straight or angled type (model no. 700 or 701) are available for installation inside the building. To ensure reliable gasket on the building outside a tapered sleeve gasket (model no. 703M) shall be used.
When PE pipes are installed in pipe entry conduits support liners shall be used.
