Double strap pipe drilling saddles with flanged outlet are to be used for installation on DCI, steel, and AC pipes DN 150 - DN 500. Adaptation to the main pipe is effected via two holding straps, each, (model no. 309-00, 310-00 or model no. 311-00, 311-01, 311-02, 311-03) and a saddle gasket (model no. 317-00 or model no. 318-00) of the appropriate nominal width of the main pipe.
The flanged outlet is used to connect valves and fittings (e.g. gate valves, hydrants, air
release valves, etc.).
When combined with the auxiliary shut-off device via intermediate flange (model no. 373-00, DN 80) and the appropriate drilling device, the pipe saddle with flanged outlet DN 80 permits the easy under pressure drilling of the main line.
