Hawle H5evo® above-ground hydrant made of stainless steel with predetermined breaking point

Above-ground hydrants are used to supply water for extinguishing purposes in the municipal and industrial sector. Due to its flow-optimized head design and concurrently lower pressure loss, Hawle H5evo® above-ground hydrants can be used in all instances that require large quantities of extinguishing water.

In the Hawle H5evo® above-ground hydrant, the shut-off function is provided by a PUR-coated shut-off cone. The PUR coating of the shut-off cone protects hydrants against damage caused by abrasive substances in potable water.
The Hawle H5evo® above-ground hydrant has a defined limit stop for opening and closing.

When the Hawle H5evo® above-ground hydrant opens, the shut-off body moves up and then closes first the drain holes and then the throughput passage. Water rises and flows upward, all around the shut-off body.
During closing, the shut-off body moves to the bottom limit stop position until the throughput passage is shut off completely. After 15 revolutions, the residual water, which may still remain in the hydrant after closing, can flow out into the soil through the drainage holes in and the drainage element.

The integrated stones catcher on the shut-off cone of the hydrant prevents damage to the shut-off element from stones and other foreign particles. This ensures a permanent and reliable shut-off function.
The standpipe and hydrant head each remain independently rotatable by 360° even after installation.

Outlet: Flange, BAIO® spigot end

The Hawle H5evo® above-ground hydrant is equipped by default with a predetermined breaking point. The predetermined breaking point ensures that the hydrant remains completely sealed in the case of an accident. Four spare screws in the hydrant head allow for quick, easy repairs.
The Hawle H5evo® above-ground hydrant is corrosion-resistant against disinfectants approved for use with potable water.
Hawle H5evo® above-ground hydrants are made exclusively from high-quality, stainless materials. The coating of the lower part of the hydrant column, i.e. up to the predetermined breaking point, offers additional protection. The materials have been selected to ensure a high level of functionality as well as a consistent good appearance for the entire duration of the hydrant’s lifespan.
The flow rate at a differential pressure of 1 bar is for all Hawle above-ground hydrant above the value required by EN 14384.
