Universal pipe saddles with ZAK® socket outlet / female thread outlet with integrated shut-off device are to be used for installation on DCI, steel, and AC pipes DN 65 - DN 500.
Adaptation to the main pipe is effected via holding strap and saddle gasket (model no. 309-00, 310-00, 311-00, 311-01, 311-02, 311-03) of the appropriate nominal width.
In combination with a drilling device (e.g. HAWLOMAT, model no. 830-00) the shut-off system with integrated shut-off device permits the easy under pressure drilling of the main line. On drilling, the outlet area is temporarily shut off via a shut-off blade / saddle blade (model no. 840-00) after pulling out the drilling spindle. The saddle blade is available as accessory. After drilling, valves and fittings can be connected.
