The air valve set consists of a shaft with a shut-off device and an air valve. Due to its compact design the air valve set replaces complex and high-maintenance manhole constructions. All maintenance work can be carried out from ground level, thus avoiding all the dangers possibly related with the entering of manholes. The installation of a drainage element (model no. 992SE) is recommended.
The integral double orifice air valve is used for filling and draining of pipelines as well as for in-service aeration and deaeration.
Please note: air valves contain compressed air. Prior to any maintenance work the air valve shall be put out of operation and depressurized!

Air release cross section:
960 mm² and/or 2.0 mm²
Operating ranges:
- 1 - 16 bar
- 0.1 -6 bar
The air valve set (standpipe, operating pipe) can be shortened on site by 100 mm at the marked points to adapt it to changed height conditions
