Double strap saddle and gate valve combinations with flanged outlet DN 80 are to be used for lateral drilling of DCI, steel, and AC pipes DN 150 - DN 500.
Adaptation to the main pipe is effected via two holding straps (model no. 309-00, 310-00 or model no. 311-00, 311-01, 311-02, 311-03) and saddle gasket (model no. 317-00) of the appropriate nominal width of the main pipe.
The reliable and tight shut-off function is ensured via a shut-off blade of hard-rolled stainless steel and an O-ring gasket package. The gasket package prevents solids from sticking to the spindle and, in case of repair, permits the exchange of the valve bonnet without taking the pressure line out of service.
Apart from actuation via handhweel or extension spindle also suitable for position indicator or electric actuator.
