Hawle valve saddles are to be used for lateral installation on DCI, steel, and AC pipes DN 65 - DN 500. Adaptation to the main pipe is effected via holding strap and saddle gasket (model no. 309-00, 310-00 or model no. 311-00, 311-01, 311-02, 311-03) of the appropriate nominal width.
The lateral male thread (versions d 32 - d 63) serves the purpose of accommodating a drilling device (e.g. Hawle drilling device HAWLOMAT, model no. 830-00). The shut-off systems permits the easy under pressure drilling of the main line.
After drilling, the integral push-fit fitting serves the purpose of connecting PE pipes or PE-X (version for PVC pipes on request). Please note: before drilling dismantle the grip ring and the O-ring.
Please check if it is necessary to use a support liner when connecting PE pipes.
