Freeflow underground hydrant

Because of the separation of operating and medium pipe the freeflow underground hydrant features considerably better hydraulic conditions in open position than hydrants with a conventional valve plug as shut-off device.

Shutting off is effected via a shut-off blade of stainless steel. Via an eccentric mechanism and a gear the shut-off blade is moved in a housing at low wear in horizontal direction against fixed metal stops.

Q = 153 m³/h at 1 bar pressure difference
Min. cross section: 70 mm
Outlet: BAIO®, flange or PE
Opening/closing: 15 revolutions
Drain-off system
CE marking

For hydrants with BAIO® spigot end outlet the dirt cover and locking ring (see supplementary products) shall be used.

Material: Cast components: GJS-400, Hawle epoxy powder coated
Medium pipe: stainless steel, Hawle epoxy powder coated
Spindle/shut-off blade/shut-off device: stainless steel
Protection jacket: PP (polypropylene)
Gaskets: EPDM
Max. operating Pressure: Potable water: 16 bar
